The Peak Condition Project - Ellen

Sunday, December 19, 2010. I hope to be one of those "check out me now" one year later folks, as it's hard to change a 12 year old body blueprint. I hope I can continue this new found life style. I know that my mind is in a better place when there is "less of me" around. Grace - thank you for inspiring me to join up and give PCP a go. You've helped me more than you know. Nicole - I hope PCP workouts became tolerable and possibly enjoyable as you finished. It's a definite mood elevator! Brian - thank you ...

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-ellen.blogspot.com/2010/12/day-80-in-zone.html

Also, I finally got a chance to connect my camera sooo new (and old) pics are posted - sorry for the delay! December 3, 2010 at 3:32 PM. December 4, 2010 at 3:50 AM. The Peak Condition Project - Ellen: Day 81 & 82: Good Weekend

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-ellen.blogspot.com/2010/12/day-81-82-good-weekend.html

Sunday, December 5, 2010. Day 81 and 82: Good Weekend. Good news is I played in a volleyball tournament all day Saturday and my team ended up going undefeated and won! Bad news is after the tourney, I had no energy left to do the PCP exercises. So it's only Sunday and I feel like I've got a whole day of no set plans and can finally have a day to do whatever I want. Have a good day Team Cookie monster teammates! December 5, 2010 at 10:10 AM. Great work with the volleyball, congratulations are in order!

The Peak Condition Project - Ellen: November 2010

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-ellen.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Day 77: Back to Reality. Traveling specifically for Thanksgiving was definitely tough to have perfect PCP dayzz. I managed to get in all workouts, but where I struggled was with the diet. I had my final indulgence early because it was Thanksgiving. I did notice some things that differed from previous Thanksgivings. I only ate 2 home-baked rolls, while my normal amount is 7. I loaded up on the steamed green beans - they took over 1/2 of my plate! What I found hard was being out...

The Peak Condition Project - Ellen: Day 79: An understanding

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-ellen.blogspot.com/2010/12/day-79-understanding.html

Friday, December 3, 2010. Day 79: An understanding. This morning I felt rushed, as if I didn't have enough time to prep my food for the day, get my workout in and then get to work on time. The workout was just there for me today, I just went on auto-pilot to get through the majority. I did run out of time and I will need to finish the sit-up series sometime throughout the day - most likely tonight after practice. December 3, 2010 at 9:11 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Day 87: Guilty as charged!

The Peak Condition Project - Ellen: Day 89: Happy

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-ellen.blogspot.com/2010/12/day-89-happy.html

Monday, December 13, 2010. And now am beginning to see some changes in my waist line. I've always felt comfortable in my own skin but now my outer shell is bringing another level of confidence in myself, which I never knew existed. So happy am I. I thought I would be tremendously sore, but I was OK. Sleeping does wonders :). All in all a good weekend. Last blog to follow. December 13, 2010 at 12:59 PM. I had the same sad feeling, it shows we really did enjoy it! December 13, 2010 at 11:45 PM. The Peak Co...

The Peak Condition Project - Erin: Day 48 - Is it Tuesday yet?

http://thepeakconditionproject-erin.blogspot.com/2010/11/day-48-is-it-tuesday-yet.html

Monday, November 1, 2010. Day 48 - Is it Tuesday yet? I feel like I've been working out hard and pushing myself in the last few days, but I feel great. I'm back to being sore everyday and feeling each workout - kind of like I was at the beginning. But, wow, am I ready for a break this week. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's jumps-only day. It's the little things that are getting me through the valley. I'm sick of being sick, that's for sure. Last night I had a (quite unusual) hankering for somethi...

The Peak Condition Project - Erin: *sigh*

http://thepeakconditionproject-erin.blogspot.com/2010/11/sigh.html

Tuesday, November 16, 2010. First, thanks everybody for your congratulations. Simon and I are really loving our little man! Between 12:30 and 3 this morning I had an email chat with Patrick. Perhaps the time reference will tell you where this is headed. He had the sense to ask me how my PCP was going now that I have a baby. My answer: not well. The thing is, I sleep in spurts, I’m exhausted, and I just can’t give it all I’ve got. As Patrick said, why risk getting sick and why bother...So, Patrick’s...

The Peak Condition Project - Erin: October 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-erin.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Day 43 - I love week 7! First, let me say that I can't tell you all how much "as much as you want" means to me. Now, twice a day, I can just pile the veggies on and not have to measure something. I can make soup again! Also, as you know, I hate lunges, but today, after not doing them for a while, I realized how much easier they are. All those leg lifts and bicycles (that pain the front of all our legs? And finally, how great is it to just set a timer to jump? 1 I can see line...

The Peak Condition Project - Susan: What a long, strange trip it's been.

http://thepeakconditionproject-susan.blogspot.com/2010/12/what-long-strange-trip-its-been.html

Monday, December 13, 2010. What a long, strange trip it's been. Coke is nasty, by the way. Water is the bomb-diggity, yo. I have to cut this short because I'm falling asleep on the keyboard. I don't know exactly when there will be pictures, but there will be pictures. And a killer, black, floor-length opera dress will be among them. December 13, 2010 at 11:42 PM. Congratulations Susan. Being glad the PCP is over is a sign of sanity! December 14, 2010 at 9:31 AM. December 14, 2010 at 6:42 PM.

The Peak Condition Project - Jack: October 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-jack.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Pictures for week 7 are up, hope everyone had a great Halloween! I'll post properly tomorrow, see you then! Saturday, October 30, 2010. Actually, I'm not a huge halloween fan for one reason or another. I won't be trick or treating don't worry, but I was confused by Patricks day 47 E-mail (timezone difference I get all the E-mails for the next day in the evening) are we allowed eat some "treat" things today? See everyone tomorrow, happy Halloween! Thursday, October 28, 2010.

Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Day 77 jumprope in a blizzard and pull ups. Even as I write this its coming down. It was an interesting experience jumproping in a snow storm. It was a besutiful sight, but an unpleasant feeling all the same. My exams roll on I'm afraid though, and its English up next, a big 'un! It was a great game, my inspiration, Cristiano Ronaldo, didn't have a great evening (playing for Madrid). So, pull ups, pull ups, pull ups.why are you so damn tough! The Peak Condition Project - Jack: Day 84 A good few days!

http://thepeakconditionproject-jack.blogspot.com/2010/12/day-84-good-few-days.html

Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Day 84 A good few days! It was great, but I sure felt the effects at the end of the day! Annoyingly, the weather has forced the school to cancel so many exam days so I still have Math tomorrow. Its frustrating, but the snow has been a real laugh. I've finally graduated fully to the full pull ups. I did 50 today, and it was mightily tough but fun! So, only 6 days left. It really has zoomed by even though the first month took FOREVER! Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Obligatory weight loss big pants shot. And to Team Cookie Monster, we did it. I sincerely appreciate everyone's support as well reading about everyone's successes and lessons learned. I leave you with me baking, mostly because I like the juxtaposition of the Arm&Hammer box next to my guns. December 15, 2010 at 11:31 AM. Same with me, I had a mince pie yesterday and liked it but I couldnt wait to get back to clean eating. December 16, 2010 at 6:19 AM. Hey Brian, way to go!

The Peak Condition Project - Jack: Day 78 It keeps getting better! (And photos!)

http://thepeakconditionproject-jack.blogspot.com/2010/12/day-78-it-keeps-getting-better-and.html

Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Day 78 It keeps getting better! The snow keeps chucking down. School closed today (and possibly tomorrow! And 8 inches of snow on the ground. Last night I fully expected the snow to come to an end, but I awoke this morning with a sight to behold, a white wonderland! Jumprope was very interesting, a lot of shovelling and brushing was required to clear my jumprope space (not to mention salt). The exercises were tough today, very tough! Ok, to the real importance stuff, results!

The Peak Condition Project - Brian W: Life choices

http://thepeakconditionproject-brianw.blogspot.com/2010/12/life-choices.html

Sunday, December 5, 2010. Another day of PCP. It's funny, I don't really think of this as a count down anymore, as I know I will continue on with most of these habits after day 90. Also, I don't think I will have quite reached peak condition for my body after day 90, although I know I'm close. December 5, 2010 at 2:10 PM. December 6, 2010 at 2:17 PM. I am really happy that you feel a major burden has been lifted. Not easy carrying excess baggage for too long, man. December 6, 2010 at 7:18 PM.

Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Eat your greens.Adios. Eat your greens Denise….Day 90. WOW….can’t believe it has been 90 days since we all started this amazing journey. I bet that most of us choose different reasons for doing this program. For me…several factors were in play. Fat loss: I had been slowly gaining weight. Over the past 3 years. Even though I was exercising (running on treadmill, elliptical and some (loosely used term) free weights. SO, here are some not so scientific observations:. Improved s...

Thursday, 1 September 2011. Training isn't enough . but it is this week. Hey all, sorry it has been so long (Patrick forgive me) . I've managed to grab an hour a day for the exercises and so have been completing almost everything. I am really chuffed that I have continued to fit it in. I missed one day in the last 7 so it ain't too bad for someone with a 13 day old baby and a life turned upside down planning hospital appointments. I know the question on everyone's mind is: "Did E manage to survive Halloween or was the temptation so great that he succumb to the delectable heavenly sweetness of sugar and carbs to the point where they had to roll him home like the Blueberry Girl from Willy Wonka. Ok, I don't know how to organize this post! But I'm taking Tara's cue and I'm going to at least start with some fundamental lessons learned/pcp topics:. Sunday, December 13, 2009. Before I wax poetic and all that about this experience, I really want to express my gratitude to . . . Sunday, April 25, 2010. The Wrap Up Part 2: Final Thoughts. It's been a week and a half since Day 90, and I still can't believe how fast the program went! Can't say I have anything more original to say than what has already been said, but I can detail what going through and completing the PCP has done for me:. I have been bad, not blogging for almost an entire month as I had been away a couple of times, and when I am around, things at work just became a bit too busy. Luckily, I have been staying on track (most days) with regards to the diet and exercises. The past 3months have been intense, hard work, a little depressing at times, stressful, educational, liberating, triumphant, energetic, moody. a rollercoaster!
