The Peak Condition Project - Fergie

Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Day XX - the end is in sight! I have been bad, not blogging for almost an entire month as I had been away a couple of times, and when I am around, things at work just became a bit too busy. Luckily, I have been staying on track (most days) with regards to the diet and exercises. These past few months have flown by, and I have found myself really enjoying not only the skipping and some of the exercises, but funnily enough, also the diet! Sunday, July 24, 2011. We took our indulge...

The Peak Condition Project - Fergie: Day 35 - 8MA

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-fergie.blogspot.com/2011/07/day-35-8ma.html

Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Day 35 - 8MA. Day 2 of 8MA - it is hard work. I fail after 15 reps. and my neck keeps feeling the "yank". Did it today at the gym with my friend who PCPed 3 months before me, and he told me the trick is to go slow and controlled, so the neck and back don't get the strain. Early dinner tonight at home as I am meeting some food writers later and will have to sit through that dinner with no food. torture! July 5, 2011 at 4:58 AM. July 5, 2011 at 7:11 AM. You did good today! Places I h...

The Peak Condition Project - Fergie: Day 50 - eggs galore

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-fergie.blogspot.com/2011/07/day-50-eggs-galore.html

Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Day 50 - eggs galore. Since my derailment on Day 40, I have been very vigilant on what I consume and am happy to report that I got back on track on the diet front immediately. However, we have been eating egg whites for so long I am getting a bit tired of them (this is coming from someone whose favourite food is eggs! Terri and I go though 6 eggs a day because of this diet. Well, the jury is still out on this one! July 20, 2011 at 12:37 AM. I do 8MA right before bed too. The Peak ...

The Peak Condition Project - Brent: Day 88 - indulgence last night but back to back sessions this morning

http://thepeakconditionproject-brent.blogspot.com/2011/08/day-88-indulgence-last-night-but-back.html

Saturday, August 27, 2011. Day 88 - indulgence last night but back to back sessions this morning. I must confess. I had a few drinks at the end of work yesterday. It was a long week. It's been difficult fighting off temptation this week, being so close to the finish line. Had a few small indulgences over the course of the week. Felt guilty a bit after . But. And Despite these. I've stuck to the training and haven't seen any change in weight this week. Just a little more to the finish line. Simple templat...

The Peak Condition Project - Marcus: Day 75...Yes, it is time for our questions

http://thepeakconditionproject-marcus.blogspot.com/2011/08/day-75yes-it-is-time-for-our-questions.html

Sunday, August 14, 2011. Day 75.Yes, it is time for our questions. Well that in itself is amazing. But now we are planning to enter into the real world in another 15 days and my head is spinning with all of the questions I have to ask. so ask I will. Time to hit the question thread but I will outline it here first. Start with our PCP Diet. I still do not really understand Chen's magic. What was the secret formula? Why do we need to know? Because.of the temptation. Crackers-is there fat free crackers?

The Peak Condition Project - Terri: Day 51 - Happy Birthday to me!

http://thepeakconditionproject-terri.blogspot.com/2011/07/day-51-happy-birthday-to-me.html

Monday, July 25, 2011. Day 51 - Happy Birthday to me! I didn't feel the excitement of my birthday week this year as dinners are dictated by an apple, an egg white and a glass of milk EVERYDAY! Well I am not complaining but how excited can you get when there are no more countdown dinner binges leading up to your birthday? We had extra veg, no dessert, just coffee. Overall, a great time with my great partner overlooking a great view of HK. What a picturesque city! My stomach has shrunk! Day 55 - Sore galore.

The Peak Condition Project - Mini: Final Post

http://thepeakconditionproject-mini.blogspot.com/2011/08/final-post.html

Tuesday, August 30, 2011. It took me a while to write this post. I had so much to write, and mind was full of thoughts and was feeling nostalgic about my last 90 days. I am entering to new phase of living with all good habits and determination to stay healthy forever and not to look back. This is it, end of great 90 days journey which I never thought I could have finished. But yes here I am, new transformed me, filled up with great knowledge that I acquired from Patrick Reynolds and Chen Zhongtao. My Fel...

Monday, August 29, 2011. Day 90. JEANS! We are winding this baby down. I am sure that everyone is writing about how happy they are to finish. not me. I am writing to say how happy I am that I have saved my jeans! I found someone that can take my collection in, resize and give them back! That is great news! Mighty mouse kicked ass! Sunday, August 28, 2011. Day 89. Time to change the wardrobe. So the final tally for me as we go into the last day.and according to 3 IN BODY machines;. One day to go! Wow what...

http://thepeakconditionproject-justin.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Monday, 29 August 2011. Day 90 – “Dear Athletes”. As some of you may know, my inspirational figure for PCP was “Triathlon Guy” … And I am pleased to announce that it is official . I AM a TRIATHLETE! Last week I enrolled in the HKFC Triathlon Club and today I received my first email from the Club Capitan and it was addressed to ME as. 8230;“Dear Athlete(s)”… My inspiration is now a reality … I am an ATHLETE and that happened without me taking a single step onto the Triathlon course. Sounds a bit like life?

Sunday, 31 July 2011. Day 62 - A new type of air sickness. Friday, 29 July 2011. Day 59 - “Daddy I need a diet”. It looks like my new PCP body is finally getting noticed by those around me. Lately, my six year old son, Jay, has been running around poking out his tummy saying that he "needs a diet". He has also been getting slightly upset at dinner times because he can’t have an apple and an egg white …. Give me a break. Thursday, 28 July 2011. Day 58 - Early Morning Grunting. Wednesday, 29 June 2011. Day 30 - Now That's CREEPY. Day 30 and one third of the way there. Exercises are starting to get challenging and really feeling the burn. BRING IT Baby. One thing that Patrick mentioned in an email was to focus on your inspirational person, which in my case is "Triathlon Guy". However, I find it is better to focus on a different image for each exercise. While doing "THE CREEP" I find one image particularly helpful . You don't want to know what image I think of during a pull up.

Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Ready, Set.GO! I too want the COMPLETE stamp! So despite wanting to put it off for longer, here's my end-all-be-all pcp post (no pressure, or anything! Ok, I don't know how to organize this post! But I'm taking Tara's cue and I'm going to at least start with some fundamental lessons learned/pcp topics:. Starting off with the "core" of PCP, some info on what happened to my body these 90 days. I know you want to see it, so let's start with the tell-all visuals:. To my kitchen)...

Sunday, December 19, 2010. I hope to be one of those "check out me now" one year later folks, as it's hard to change a 12 year old body blueprint. I hope I can continue this new found life style. I know that my mind is in a better place when there is "less of me" around. Grace - thank you for inspiring me to join up and give PCP a go. You've helped me more than you know. Nicole - I hope PCP workouts became tolerable and possibly enjoyable as you finished. It's a definite mood elevator! Brian - thank you ...

Sunday, December 13, 2009. Before I wax poetic and all that about this experience, I really want to express my gratitude to . . . My halfside, Pacato, the best teammate EVER (who never broke a sweat no matter what kind of mood I threw at him). Patrick and Chen, who ran the show and led the way (particularly, Patrick, in the areas of enthusiasm, knowledge, encouragement, and balance). Sunday, April 25, 2010. The Wrap Up Part 2: Final Thoughts. It's been a week and a half since Day 90, and I still can't believe how fast the program went! Can't say I have anything more original to say than what has already been said, but I can detail what going through and completing the PCP has done for me:. I have established better eating habits. 1) Eating and drinking till I am satisfied, not full. 2) Eating 5-6 smaller portions a day. 3) Eating healthy, well-balanced meals. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. First, thanks everybody for your congratulations. Simon and I are really loving our little man! Between 12:30 and 3 this morning I had an email chat with Patrick. Perhaps the time reference will tell you where this is headed. He had the sense to ask me how my PCP was going now that I have a baby. My answer: not well. The thing is, I sleep in spurts, I’m exhausted, and I just can’t give it all I’ve got. As Patrick said, why risk getting sick and why bother...So, Patrick’s...

Sunday, 6 November 2011. Final Pics. Better late than never. Wednesday, 31 August 2011. WOW, its over. This feels weird. I feel a bit like I'm on a come down. The past 3months have been intense, hard work, a little depressing at times, stressful, educational, liberating, triumphant, energetic, moody. a rollercoaster! Thursday, 5 November 2009. We made it ! 12288;Then・・・・.

Perseverance : "You can't let go and still win". Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Day 90 : Pics. Weight wise, not that we care, I've stabilized pretty quickly at 82 Kg from 85.5 (maybe more 87) but dropped at least one size, almost two in jeans. easy to see on the pics above. Saturday, October 2, 2010. It's day 91 and there are peppermint patty and pb cup wrappers strewn all over my apt. .PSYCH! In all fairness, with me that's totally possible. :P Heck, on the day I met Brett (team running rats, who told me about the pcp), I offered him pork rinds and pringles at 9AM. When he said no, I just figured PRP wasn't everybody's idea of breakfast. Little did I know. I'm sure he was probably disgusted. 1) WWSD - what would sarah do. 2) There I said it, now I have to do it. I take sto...
