The Peak Condition Project - Jonti: Day 83 - ToDo list

http://thepeakconditionproject-jonti.blogspot.com/2009/12/day-83-todo-list.html

Sunday, December 6, 2009. Day 83 - ToDo list. I find it kind of hard to sometime remember what I ate before PCP. Really? I know I ate stuff and probably lots of it. Hmmm. I know I didn't eat at restaurants much. Seems like I remember semi-healthy things I thought were healthy. Natural peanut butter and my backpack always had cheese sticks, and energy bars. Notice how not all of those are really natural? Trying to regain enough energy to pick yourself up off the floor and drive home after the planks.

The Peak Condition Project - Jonti: Day 79 - Food Recovery

http://thepeakconditionproject-jonti.blogspot.com/2009/12/day-79-food-recovery.html

Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Day 79 - Food Recovery. It has taken a few days, but I think I finally recovered from our last food indulgence. No easy task. When we were told about the final indulgence, one of my first thoughts was. "can I give it back? We chose some doozies. The restaurant was good, serving organic and locally grown foods when possible. We watched Food, Inc. Over the holiday and that is a whole other blog post. Appetizer, Pan Boracho. Entree, Kobe Beef Burger. 8oz Texas Kobe beef burger w...

The Peak Condition Project - Jonti: November 2009

http://thepeakconditionproject-jonti.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Thursday, November 26, 2009. Day 73 - Thanks. Today, I am thankful for our health and how we are so fortunate this year to be able to workout, enjoy healthy real food, and share a little joy with others. I hope everyone is having a great day with friends, family and loved ones. Happy Thanksgiving PCP'ers and Patrick. Links to this post. Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Day 7* - I'm Baa-a-c-k. I actually think so. I easily made the decision to have a root canal without kicking and screaming. Why? I missed a fe...

The Peak Condition Project - Shelly: October 2009

http://thepeakconditionproject-shelly.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, 29 October 2009. Day 45 : Halfway There! When I'm about midway through my PCP workout, I'm feeling pretty great. The early am sleepiness has shaken off, my heart is pumping, there's fresh oxygenated blood coursing through my body, I hit the groove and my mind is clear. That's pretty much where I'm at right now on day 45. I'm now seeing (and feeling! I'm betting the 90 day group is also feeling fairly fine - congrats to you guys on a huge achievement! Wishing a fabulous day and a big HOO YEA.

The Peak Condition Project - Emily: PC-PMS and a Case of Senioritis

http://thepeakconditionproject-emily.blogspot.com/2009/12/pc-pms-and-case-of-senioritis.html

Tuesday, December 8, 2009. PC-PMS and a Case of Senioritis. Dude, I totally have senioritis. Not like, wow-I'm totally-as-buff-as-I-need-to-be-senioritis . . . but like, I-can't-wait-till-I-finally-graduate-from-this-place-and-can-really-be-myself-at-college senioritis. Like, I-should-be-studying-but-instead-I-just-ate-some-cookie-dough senioritis. (Immediate stomachache, btw.). Am I doing something wrong? It's the eggs. It HAS to be the eggs. The Peak Condition Project - Naomi: The final day

http://thepeakconditionproject-naomi.blogspot.com/2009/12/final-day.html

Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Hi everyone. It's great to read all of your final day posts and it was equally great partaking in the PCP with you all. This is just a quick final post to let you all know how I'm doing. I've not been anywhere near a PC for a few days as I was staying in a forest in a hill station in southern India for the past five days. It's been totally blissful. Thanks to Chen and Patrick for all your knowledge and mentoring and I would love to do the advanced PCP next year! Thanks for the...

Friday, November 20, 2009. Day 67."Oh my. What indentations you have"! In your stomach. Noticing some nice indents from those ab exercises. That's why I love (sometimes hate) those planks. RRrr.90 secs.maybe the love is less intense. November 20, 2009 at 7:01 AM. You look super buff, Denise! November 20, 2009 at 10:05 AM. I cant believe you love plank, but yes, it is effective. Can you believe were doing 90second sets now! November 20, 2009 at 10:17 AM. Shoot us some new pics, Denise! Day 67.Oh my.

http://thepeakconditionproject-denise.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Day 16 - Chop Chop. Day 16 finds me up earlier than normal with the PCP. Last night was a late working night. Time spent going to the gym (rrrrrr.just cause I am not able to jump right now) did not give enough time to chop the head of cauliflower normally done. Food: Recipe swapping is a good idea. Me.I am not too creative with food. I leave that to the resident foodie. Which leads me back to. The morning.more chopping. First.coffee."Get in my belly"! Week one under the belt.

The Peak Condition Project - Emily: November 2009

http://thepeakconditionproject-emily.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Sunday, November 29, 2009. Letting Go of Old Habits. It's 11 pm, and I just hung up my apron for the day. With less than 2 weeks left(! To celebrate with after Day 90. And I wondered about whether I would jump rope the day I eat them. Saturday, November 28, 2009. I'm feeling a little burned out on routines, but now that I've finished the day's strength exercises and eaten some lunch, I wanted to pop in and share this episode. Of Gourmet's Diary of a Foodie. Monday, November 23, 2009. Being that I'm from ...

The Peak Condition Project - Shelly: Day 85 :: Five Days and Counting

http://thepeakconditionproject-shelly.blogspot.com/2009/12/day-85-five-days-and-counting.html

Tuesday, 8 December 2009. Day 85 : Five Days and Counting. I think Emily explained it best in her latest post, and I'll second her on the attack of senioritus! Plus, everybody and their Mom seems to want to spend their EOY marketing dollars, leaving me feeling a might bit cooked on the work front as well. Oh, and by the way, FIVE DAYS TO GO! 8 December 2009 at 10:06. The Peak Condition Project - Shelly: Day 80 :: Curse of the Final Indulgence

http://thepeakconditionproject-shelly.blogspot.com/2009/12/day-80-curse-of-final-indulgence.html

Thursday, 3 December 2009. Day 80 : Curse of the Final Indulgence. For all of you considering joining the PCP, consider yourself warned. By the time you're allowed the third indulgence, you're not going to want it AT ALL and you'll most likely be a liiiiiittle sorry for it the next day! Yesterday, I struggled with a phenomenal food hangover - sluggish, grumpy, el bloato - all over a pile of linguine with white clam sauce, crusty bread and two glasses of red wine. Going forward, I think I'll still indulge...

The Peak Condition Project - Shelly: Day 78 :: My Plate Runneth Over

http://thepeakconditionproject-shelly.blogspot.com/2009/12/day-78-my-plate-runeth-over.html

Tuesday, 1 December 2009. Day 78 : My Plate Runneth Over. I'm having the hardest time coming up with blog subjects at the moment. I think I'm in the midst of a subtle freakout over the holidays, the end of PCP and, HOLY COW, the fast approaching New Year! Otherwise, I'll leave with this thought. While the workouts will get harder, I'm not so worried about them. Muscle abuse I can handle, but I think the diet is going to be more challenging these next 12 DAYS. It is just sooo much food! Oh Jonti, it takes...

Sohave I arrived at the place I wanted to be when I first started the PCP journey? Well, unfortunately, no, I'm not. Am I in "Peak Condition"? Ohand I'll upload some pics in the next few days. Tuesday, November 3, 2009. I bow to Fred and Sidney. Sad, the PCP is finished. That's o.k., I'll just go eat some cake. (KIDDING). No cookies, and smiles times (day 90). In June, I ended my Peace Corps West Africa service and returned to America with one goal in mind: to eat my way through Dr. Phil’s Weight Loss Challenge “what not to eat” section. I found the book in a discarded “Books for Africa” box. (Seriously, who donates a weight loss book to Africa! What’s wrong with you? Throughout my service, I ...

Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Day 27 - The journey continues. Some random thoughts on the progress and changes to body:. Keeping as much as possible to the diet program. I had two bites of chocolate on Monday, but everything else is going swimmingly. For some reason (I think Patrick already mentioned it), I've had an on-again, off-again headache this week. Think its the body continuing to adjust to its new-found heightened performance (and lack of crap in the system ;-). I have to say, I'm pretty proud of the...

Monday, May 9, 2011. Dear PCPeers and visitors,. It's almost a slap in the face to be posting this nearly a month overdue. But better late than never. So, Patrick, PCPeers, please excuse me for such inexcusable tardiness. I started PCP because I had some general intuitions about changes that needed to be made in my life:. 1 There was the vain aspiration to look good, but mostly a latent feeling of indebtedness to myself. New body, new mind, new path. 2 After PCP I ride my bicycle every day and do muscle ...

Monday, 29 August 2011. Day 90 – “Dear Athletes”. As some of you may know, my inspirational figure for PCP was “Triathlon Guy” … And I am pleased to announce that it is official . I AM a TRIATHLETE! Last week I enrolled in the HKFC Triathlon Club and today I received my first email from the Club Capitan and it was addressed to ME as. 8230;“Dear Athlete(s)”… My inspiration is now a reality … I am an ATHLETE and that happened without me taking a single step onto the Triathlon course. Saturday, August 6, 2011. Day 67 - Substituting jumprope with swimming pool and biking. Since the fracture, I am not allowed to do jump rope. I understand how convenient it was to do this and how effective it was. It's short, you can do it everywhere, you don't need a swimming pool or a gym to carry on your workout. I would have to keep going with PCP beyond PCP until i reach 76 Kg. Day 68 - Challenging Ramadan. Patrick has given me a special diet during Ramadan but with still 3 meals. There is no wa...
