The Mighty Tri Girls began in 2004 with 10 women. Since then, over 100 women have crossed the finish line of their first triathlon. We primarily train for all-women’s events in the Trek and Irongirl race series. Check out their websites, www.trekwomenstriathlonseries.com and www.irongirl.com . These events consist of a 1/2 mile swim (don’t panic), a 13 mile bike,. And a 3 mile run or walk. If you are thinking, Oh, I could never do that! Well maybe not right now,.
