Ischia and Naples! | wanderingintowanderlust

https://wanderingintowanderlust.wordpress.com/2015/03/17/ischia-and-naples

March 17, 2015. April 9, 2015. Now that midterms are all over we can finally celebrate and have a weekend trip! This weekend we went to a little island off Napels called Ischia and LOVED IT! We were only planning to stay for one day but we decided to stay for 2 and spent only the night in Naples the next day. We took an early train Friday morning to Napels then a ferry to the island and the weather was beautiful! It was soo sunny, the water was so blue and the cliffs were breathtaking! After getting to k...

April 13, 2015. April 21, 2015. Today was the last day of our Workforce course which is basically the course you take if you choose to do an internship abroad. We had our presentations where we presented what we did throughout the semester and talked about our thoughts and feelings throughout the year. It was nice to hear what everyone was doing the past few months and hear about their struggles and what they did to overcome them. Last full weekend in Rome :(. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Last full weekend in Rome :( | wanderingintowanderlust

https://wanderingintowanderlust.wordpress.com/2015/04/08/last-full-weekend-in-rome

Last full weekend in Rome :(. April 8, 2015. April 13, 2015. Can’t believe I only have 4 weeks left in this beautiful city! These past 3 months definitely flew by and it made me realize all the things I still haven’t done in Rome. On Friday, I tried to go to the Cupola, the Dome of St. Peters where you can see the aerial view of St. Peter’s Square, but it was closed! My phone died before we got there so I wasn’t able to take any pictures 😦. Check out the vine I made:. We were able to get tickets through...

January | 2015 | wanderingintowanderlust

https://wanderingintowanderlust.wordpress.com/2015/01

Highlights of Week 1. January 25, 2015. January 30, 2015. Can’t believe already a full week has gone by since I’ve been in Rome! We finished our first week of intensive Italian class (everyday from 9:30-1) and I already feel like I can hold a decent conversation with someone. It really does help living in a country you’re learning a new language in because you are constantly forced to use it! Also Juli is probably the coolest chef I’ve ever met! There were so much different plates! I also included a coup...

Wandering in the Word

Wandering in the Word. Exploring scripture. .intersections of life and scripture. Friday, August 5, 2016. But Jacob said, “I won’t let you go until you bless me.”. He said to Jacob, “What’s your name? 8221; and he said, “Jacob.” Then he said, “Your name won’t be Jacob any longer, but Israel, because you struggled with God and with men and won.”. Jacob also asked and said, “Tell me your name.”. But he said, “Why do you ask for my name? Genesis 32: 22-32 (CEB). I believe we are meant to wrestle with the wo...

How many pairs of underwear? Will there be coffee?

Wandering into adulthood

Growing into the woman and wife God created me to be. Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Today is a bit of a sad day for Kenny and me. One of the sweetest women who adopted Kenny when he started working at Second Baptist so many years ago is now finally cancer free and in the presence of our savior. We have been following her husband's posts of her course of treatment and were able to see her and her husband last night before she passed. Monday, September 10, 2012. Officially a growed up. Therefore we do not los...

April 13, 2015. April 21, 2015. This past weekend Diana and I went to Venice for a weekend getaway. It was nice because the plane tickets were actually cheaper than plane tickets… BUT we realized it basically costs the same because it was 48 euros each way to the airport…. They gave us places to go to which really helped us because we had no idea what we were going to do over the weekend. All we knew was that we wanted to eat seafood and see the canals. It was soo delicious I still dream about it haha.

Wandering in Wellington | and throughout New Zealand

And throughout New Zealand. December 12th – 15th: Coromandel Peninsula. December 16, 2008. Our drive toward the Coromandel Peninsula took us on NewZealand’s Pacific Coast Highway — sound familiar. The tree with red blossoms in the background of this picture is the Pohutukawa, which we’d seen before. But without its flowers — it blooms in late December, earning its nickname as New Zealand’s Christmas tree.). The other Pacific Coast Highway. A full moon rising over the Pacific Ocean and the beach at Hahei.

Sharing, on a pilgrims journey. A Peace initiative on film. Here’s my Diamond Jubilee Beacon photo! I loved being part of something for the Jubilee – standing on a hill with about 200 people singing the Royal Anthem whilst the Beacon was lit, a link in a chain of light. I’m not usually much of a Royalist, but Bless Queenie – she has served loyally in the role she was put into to, and has done her best for us and to represent us positively. 8230;please God…).
