Several years ago, my side of the family gave up doing gift exchanges (except for the kiddos) and instead we each take a turn picking an organization and all donating to it. I love this…especially since buying gifts is stressful to me. This year it was our turn, and we chose Operation Christmas Child. I have been participating since I was in college and now am elated to be doing it with my kiddos. Peter chucking the balls everywhere.

Thursday, May 30, 2013. And James is here, too! The advent of the iPad in our lives has meant that the grandparents get videos and emails occasionally and was nearly the death of the blog! Parenting older children takes more energy and interruptions to sleep for the past year from pregnancy and a newborn have called for extra videos and book sessions on the couch to make it through the day! Well, I've written far too much here, resulting in birthday presents still unwrapped! Sweet James- he was so tiny!

Really this is only my 3rd time, I have by no means perfected it but I have a pretty cute little guy to practice on! Today he fell asleep on my bed so I stretched the blanket out he was laying on and took some close ups of his sweet little hands and feet. I just love little baby hands and toes.
