The Peak Condition Project - Nate: September 2008

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-nate.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Past the half-way point! So anyway I'm back after a 3 day hiatus there. The "change of scenery" was a nice break in the pattern even though I had to sleep in my car because my one friend wouldn't stop snoring. Curses. But we had a blazing bonfire. I learned a ton of cool stuff about bees. Since we camped at my friends farm and they keep 3 huge hives it was really neat. The one apparently has 700 lbs of honey. Crazy! So I have my updated measurements and a flexing pose that I ...

The Peak Condition Project - Nate: October 2008

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-nate.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Friday, October 31, 2008. By that I mean the energy and positivity you get form getting in shape is priceless. And before you know it it is all habit, and second thought. . I have noticed a higher confidence in myself. I feel taller when I stand. When I focus on posture I feel powerful and in charge. It is amazing. . After all PK is just getting form point A to point B as fast as humanly possible and it would be so cool to see what kind of movements would be best in a natural setting. Off to go day dream!

The Peak Condition Project - Nate: Hiking and a Physical

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-nate.blogspot.com/2008/11/hiking-and-physical.html

Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Hiking and a Physical. So I went on an awesome hiking trip this past saturday. I mentioned I went to Letchworth State Park here in upstate NY. . So here are some picks and a new fitness picture up. I don't notice a huge difference and I feel that I won't in the last week but the sense of accomplishment is great. I'm looking forward to PK and good weather in the spring to have the opportunity to really get in amazing shape! Have a great night everyone! I'm off to watch some surv...

The Peak Condition Project - Nate: Nature Parkour and PCP Day 90 closing in

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-nate.blogspot.com/2008/11/nature-parkour-and-pcp-day-90-closing.html

Thursday, November 6, 2008. Nature Parkour and PCP Day 90 closing in. So I mentioned before about how I want to do Parkour in nature. The great thing about PK is it can be done anywhere. It's simply getting from point a to b in the fastest most efficient way possible. And to be able to hone those abilities you can practice a certain set of defined movements anywhere. This allows you to become more proficient at getting form point a to point b. . Also this winter I am going to start snow-shoeing and cross...

The Peak Condition Project - Nate: 3 days left!

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-nate.blogspot.com/2008/11/3-days-left.html

Sunday, November 9, 2008. I'll be doing a long post tomorrow about our last week homework assignments. Plus I will probably start writing my day 90 post ahead of time because I have so much to explain. But for tonight I am off to get a TON of sleep because Patrick says that I should and that's way more permission than I need to sleep in after this crazy weekend. I never thought it was possible for me to sleep any better but I do. I went from being a great sleeper to being a PRO! What is the PCP? If you w...

http://thepeakconditionproject-adrianemiko.blogspot.com/2008/11/emiko-day-90-peek-back-at-day-1.html

Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Emiko: Day 90, A Peek Back At Day 1. OH MY GOSH IT'S DAY 90! I cannot believe that this Project is officially over. Congratulations Tim, Amy, Nate, and Adrian and meee! BIG big thanks to Patrick and Chen for guiding us along through the process. WOW! Patrick had mentioned once in an email, ". Like Adrian, I plan to write a little more and to post some photos of my new muscles! But that will probably be in a couple days, I need to recover from all that curry! Word verificatio...

Friday, October 31, 2008. Emiko: Day 78, Cinematic Consumption. Speaking of anxiety, I have a phone interview for a job this afternoon. Wish me luck! I plan to have my third and final indulgence directly following the interview, so I will be updating on that soon! Hope you all are well. Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Emiko: Day 76, Clothes! I first want to congratulate PCPJapan! How does it feel to reach the final day of the Project? All three of you look fabulous! And I still have love-handles! That state...

The Peak Condition Project - Maki: Day 90 – Officially finished

http://thepeakconditionproject-maki.blogspot.com/2008/12/day-90-officially-finished.html

Saturday, December 6, 2008. Day 90 – Officially finished. I just finished doing my exercises and skipping which means I have completed PCP! I went back to Day 9 exercises and completed them within 20 minutes. I did get a good workout but obviously didn’t feel the “burn” as much as recent days due to the lower number of reps. But that means, my muscles has toned right? I am more than thrilled. Thank you all for your support and reading my rather dull blog! December 7, 2008 at 5:41 AM. PCP - Hama Mamas.

The Peak Condition Project - Maki: Day 89

http://thepeakconditionproject-maki.blogspot.com/2008/12/day-89.html

Saturday, December 6, 2008. Finished skipping and exercises just before midnight. It was tough but I am happy that I finished them. My arms feel as though they are twice the size though! Starting from 0, who would have thought that I would be skipping over 2000 skips without having have to catch my breath? Me doing push ups and sit ups? It just seems like yesterday that I asked my husband to explain how to do them properly. He could not believe how pathetic my muscles were! PCP - Hama Mamas.

The Peak Condition Project - Munisha: Countdown thoughts - #3 - INDULGENCE TIME!

http://thepeakconditionproject-munisha.blogspot.com/2008/12/countdown-thoughts-3-indulgence-time.html

Thursday, December 4, 2008. Countdown thoughts - #3 - INDULGENCE TIME! The only negative about indulging was picking my item to indulge in! 160;I always wanted to pick the perfect thing.  Not such a bad problem.and with each indulgence, I got quicker at picking.probably because I was so in need of one.  Can't wait for my first post-PCP indulgence - 90 days in.I know I deserve it! Only 2 more days to go. That was the most fun I have had being lost in a long time and I get lost a lot. Thanks.

The Peak Condition Project - Munisha: Countdown thoughts #2 - Cheating

http://thepeakconditionproject-munisha.blogspot.com/2008/12/countdown-thoughts-2-cheating.html

Friday, December 5, 2008. Countdown thoughts #2 - Cheating. This is it.the day before the last day! Last day of exercises in our book.wow.what a killer workout! I had to stop in the middle to take care of the baby, but was able to finish of before bed. So, yes, you can cheat and eat the wrong foods and skip the exercises, but is it really worth it? Are you getting away with something.NO.you're just cheating yourself! Not worth the guilt and, hey, 90 days is only 3 months. Tomorrow is the LAST DAY!

The Peak Condition Project - Patrick Reynolds: Day 122, Admitting Defeat

http://peakconditionproject.blogspot.com/2008/07/day-122-admitting-defeat.html

Sunday, July 20, 2008. Day 122, Admitting Defeat. Man, I just can't get these box splits. I've still got two inches to go and that's not going to be made up in the next three days, so I'm going to admit defeat right here. Sadly, I will not be doing this before the end of my Peak Condition Project. But I also enjoy the challenge and tonight I ordered a new book. About how to work with your nervous system to get the most out of your stretches. Here are some of the highlights from the table of contents:.

The Peak Condition Project - Patrick Reynolds: Day 117, Remember Day 47?

http://peakconditionproject.blogspot.com/2008/07/day-117-remember-day-47.html

Tuesday, July 15, 2008. Day 117, Remember Day 47? That was a long time ago, 70 days to be exact. It was just after I had lost 11 pounds of fat. One of the unexpected side-effects was that I was freezing my ass off. I hadn't realized how much extra warmth that layer of fat provided. Here's a cross section showing the subcutaneous fat layer undeneath the dermis. You see how it's all spongy and bubbly? Remind you of anything? ThePeakConditionProject (at) gmail.com. The Peak Condition Project - Patrick Reynolds: Day 78, What's In the Box?

http://peakconditionproject.blogspot.com/2008/06/day-78-whats-in-box.html

Friday, June 6, 2008. Day 78, What's In the Box? Today Kazue gave me a mysterious box with a "Peak Condition Project" tag. Inside, it read, "Do not open until July 23rd." (The day the project ends). I've always been terrible at waiting to open presents (if it is indeed a present) especially if I have to look at the thing for a month and a half. So I thought I'd open this up to the general public to make the waiting more interesting. I'll get things started with my own comment below. A new set of nunchaku!

The Peak Condition Project - Patrick Reynolds: Day 113, Obesity

http://peakconditionproject.blogspot.com/2008/07/day-113-obesity.html

Friday, July 11, 2008. Day 113, Obesity. I like the online magazine Slate and usually cruise over there once a day to see if they've got any interesting articles running. Well tonight this is what I saw. (Click the pic to go to the story). With all the good things I've heard about WALL-E I was surprised by the headline, (which was of course the point) and as obesity and the environment are two things which really interest me, I dove right into the article even though I haven't seen the movie. Drink "cupc...

The Peak Condition Project - Mini

Tuesday, August 30, 2011. It took me a while to write this post. I had so much to write, and mind was full of thoughts and was feeling nostalgic about my last 90 days. This is it, end of great 90 days journey which I never thought I could have finished. But yes here I am, new transformed me, filled up with great knowledge that I acquired from Patrick Reynolds and Chen Zhongtao. My Fel...

The Peak Condition Project - Naoko

Sunday, August 29, 2010. Workout @ Patrick's studio. I didn't know about Day 90 workout menu. I didn't receive the email before I leave home so I know nothing about it. Ah how far I came in 90 days! How much strength I gain! Looking back the first week, I was so out of breath by jumping just 300 or so. I got sore muscles from only 4 sets of squats. I would like to thank my friend Yukiko for recommending this program to me in May. If I didn't start in June, I wasn't here now. My old pants are too big now.

Friday, January 1, 2010. Some final day photos of me on a beach in Kerala. Actually these photos were taken on my birthday on 17th December. What an amazing holiday it was and made all the better for knowing I was in peak health! Being in India it's always best for women to respect the local custom and dress modestly, even on the beach, hence the lack on bikini here, so sorry, no abs shots! A very cool moment! Tuesday, November 16, 2010. 2 weeks post-project, Nathaly: Maintaining. I did a weigh-in this morning, about 2 weeks after the end of the program and am proud to report that I haven't gained back any weight despite definitely getting off the bandwagon in every way! 14 April, 2010. We made it through and I'm happy, relieved and slightly depressed at the same time, but only because I now have to keep this up on my own. I went back and did the Day 6 exercises and I completed them in 20 mins and was raring to go for more. When I think back to struggling with the pressups and how the skipping rope tangled in my feet every few seconds, it is a great and wonderful difference. I'll post a couple of pictures over the next few days. Great to have done it! 06 April, 2010.
